Kameel Stoepstorie: Lamps from fuses

At De Oude Huize we always try to give everything a second change.
We received two high voltage unserviceable fuses from our son during one of his days with the electrical supplier in our country.

Hennie change it into a marvelous #vintage feature in one of our guest rooms
The original fuse

Luckly we receive two identical fuses
With a little imagination it was turned it into THIS

Wrought iron tubes were added with electrical wiring.
A little piece of  origan pine wood was turned into feet
Everything was sprayed with silver paint

A little light bulb was added
It is working!!!!
Old sheet music on the shades

Thank you for visiting this special post
Till next time

  3. This was such a clever, creative project! Those lamps are wonderful, and I love what you are going to do with the shade Amazing that you thought to do this, and they turned out so well. They look like you spent a fortune buying them from a high end shop..

Thank you so much for sharing this with us. I enjoyed seeing it very much. And thank you, too, for your visit with me today. I appreciate it very much.

    Have a wonderful weekend!

    XO,
