De Oude Huize is a Dutch expression, so I wonder if you have Dutch connections? One of our friends in Holland has a guest house like this one -so cute!
ReplyDeleteDear Jesh
DeleteYes it means old house. Our country was occupied by the Dutch in 1652 and there is a very strong influence. Our families that came to South Africa were French and Brittish.
Would love to see your friend's guest house. If possible please forward a website address.
Lots of love from Sunny South Africa
