Dear Arrielle thanks for your wonderful comment. We bought the chairs and a little two seat couch for R1000. The cleaning and repainted was done by ourselves. We bought the material in Cape Town on a holiday at a factory outlet and paid R250. The upholstery project (high density sponge) worked out to almost R900. The total revamp of the three pieces will be about R2050 if my calculations is correct.

This is a very surprising redesign. I'm surprised you were able to get such beautiful chairs out of the old , decrepid version.
