Where do you go to my lovely . . .

Where do you go to my lovely - Peter Sarstedt

This song is one of those that you wake up to and it just lingers on in your head.

"You talk like Marlene Dietrich
And you dance like Zizi Jeanmaire
 . . . . .

But where do you go to my lovely
when you're alone in your bed.
Tell me the thoughts that surround you . . .

Some time ago we found a lot of old letters, cards, postcards and photo's.
As always this is something that carries a certain mystery with it.
Some of these letters dated back to 1911
The letters is mostly written in German and it tells of live in Germany.

Armstadt 9 April 1908.  This is a diary written and kept in a hard paper roll
July 1911
A Postcard with a picture of a Radolfzell on the Bodensee dated 24 September 1955. The Boden sea is known as Lake Constance
A letter to Jetta
A Letter written on the letterhead of Tempelhof Fruit Tree Nursery dated 9 February 1938
So ... where do you go to my lovely
with a pile of old letters?
"So look into my face Marie-Claire
and remember just who you are
then go and forget me forever
but I know you still bear
the scar, deep inside, yes you do

Lots of blessing from South Africa
Sandra
